Prepare to embark on a journey to Northern Germany with me, to discover rare horse breeds such as the Schleswiger draft horse, Posavina draft horse, Alt-Oldenburger, and many more. We’ll immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Arche Warder, a sanctuary dedicated to preserving endangered domestic animal breeds.
Capture stunning photographs in the idyllic landscapes and lush meadows of Arche Warder, surrounded by these magnificent and unique horse breeds. But the adventure doesn’t end there! We’ll also have a thrilling photoshoot on the picturesque beaches of Northern Germany, capturing the horses against the backdrop of sandy shores and rolling waves.
Join me on this extraordinary Explorer Day as we celebrate the beauty of these rare Northern Lights and create unforgettable images in the heart of nature.

Beautiful horses of all ages and a great and natural landscape await us. Here is a selection of my photos, to give you an inspiration.
Join me and fellow photographers for a unique one or two horse photo day. I will arrange photo locations and models and we will photograph them as a group. Some Explorer Days are bootcamps and we will spend the day morning to evening in one location photographing and editing. And some Explorer Days have several locations in a certain area, so we can capture a wide spectrum of sceneries.
The Explorer Days are pretty unique photo days and cover a large variety of sceneries, topics and models and give you a perfect opportunity to build a large portfolio.
The Explorer Day is no wellness day 😉 depending on the theme and locations I will organise 2 to 4 photo sessions a day. This can be exhausting and we might also spend some time on the road. The small group size ensures that everybody gets a good spot for photographing and best views on the landscape. Each Explorer Day is unique, individual and a small adventure.
The goal of the Explorer Day is that you will make a rich portfolio during these 1-2 day bootcamps. My focus lies on wonderful landscapes and experienced horse models, so you can get the maximum of photos. In fact, an Explorer Day is just the 1-day experience of an Explorer Tour or Expedition. I have inspected all locations in accordance to the perfect daylight and met with all models before, to ensure the best session experience with you.

Die liebe Cecile von The Pixel Nomad - vor die Linse Fotografie, plant und organisiert immer wieder Explorer Days und am 15. Februar war eins dieser tollen Events! Ich hab mich so gefreut, dass sie für mich noch ein Plätzchen hatte, denn ich wollte schon so lange Haflinger in Bergen fotografieren und bin nie wirklich dazu gekommen. Der Tag war super schön, mit lieben Menschen und Tieren, sehr toll organisiert, vom ersten Kontakt bis zum gemütlichen Abschluss-Abendessen und ich kann die Explorer Days von Cecile nur jedem ans Herz legen! Danke <3
Adventurous, exhausting and awesome.
This is probably the best way to describe the Alm-weekend. If you are looking for locations that you can't reach by car, but only by foot, a tour with Cécile during the Almsummer is the right choice. In addition to unique horses and locations, you will also get an insight into her way of working with horses and an honest exchange (if you like). For me it was a very successful weekend with many special impressions, a lot of kisses from the two four-legged family members of Cécile and lots of new pictures on the hard drive. It won't be the last time 🙂
Noch nie habe ich bei einer Fotosession so viel gelernt wie mit Cecile auf der Explorer Tour. Wir durchstreiften verschiedene Projekte von "Wildpferden" in Deutschland und ich kam mit so vielen schönen und aussagekräftigen Bildern nach Hause. Cecile hat viel Mühe in die Organisation der Tour gesteckt, und so hatten wir ein volles Wochenende mit wunderbaren Reisezielen! Ich würde diese Tour sehr empfehlen!
Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem wirklich einzigartigen und aufregenden Abenteuer bist - dann solltest du Cecile auf ihren Explorer-Touren begleiten! Es war eine wirklich lustige und lehrreiche Erfahrung, mitzumachen, wenn sie neue Leute kennen lernt, über ihr Projekt berichtet und unbekannte Orte und Modelle erkundet. Sie gibt großartige Einblicke in ihre Arbeitsweise und die Herangehensweise an ein Projekt - eine praktische Erfahrung, die normale Workshops kaum vermitteln können. Man kann nie mit Sicherheit wissen, wie eine solche Tour ausgehen wird, aber sie wird auf jeden Fall bemerkenswert sein.
