Utilisation of the rare Međimurje / Muraközi

Traditionally, the Međimurje / Muraközi was utilized in agriculture, capable of performing heavy tasks with remarkable endurance. Today, while still used for farm work in some areas, the Muraközi / Međimurje finds its place in recreational riding and as a driving horse. Its rare status and exceptional qualities make it a sought-after breed for traditional equestrian sports, showcasing its versatility and strength.

The Međimurje / Muraközi horse is currently considered critically endangered, with only a few hundred individuals existing today.
